Akihiko Matsumoto & Dayzero has started a collaborative project. Dayzero produces music with a focus on Dub/Dubstep and consistently releases music. He performs live and dj around the world as well. Akihiko Matsumoto has established his own unique activities such as music production centered on Wave/Ambient, program development for technology entertainment and corporate R&D, educational events, and serialization in magazines.
As the first step of this project, they will start to distribute a song named "Zebroid" they co-wrote together. This tune was produced with a focus on bass music, actively incorporating sounds that emphasize each other's production process and genres. The result is a hybrid work characterized by a tough bass that evokes a sound system in a melodious composition that harmonizes different spaces. The artwork was also co-created by Akihiko Matsumoto & Dayzero, expressing the music and each other's works.
